According to Ayurvedic medicine, the body has the innate wisdom to remain in a state of balance. The concept of health is defined as “dynamic balance,” which refers to the constant fluctuation of going in and out of balance. Our lifestyles, dietary choices, relationships, and mental and emotional states often disturb our balance. Like other alternative views on health, Ayurveda emphasizes the deep connection between mind, body and spirit. Furthermore, it extends this connection beyond the human form and into the cosmos.
Universal Kabbalah echoes similar views, and adds another layer by emphasizing the connection between the quality of your ‘Internal Dialogue’ and your state of wellbeing. In Hebrew, the words, briut (health) contains within it the word boreh (creator). The power of creation resides within our mind and our imagination, and not solely within our actions. In order for true healing to occur, you must remove the mental causative factor. Repetitive thoughts, both negative and positive, can either manifest as disease or a state of health.
